To build leadership among teachers in the school, two to five seats in IWP’s 2½ week Summer Leadership Institute will be reserved for teachers identified by the school administration or recommended by the IWP leader. This step will help build capacity so that the development of improved writing instruction can continue over time. Depending on when the program is arranged, this participation may take place either during the summer before the program takes place or the summer afterward.
